TIP OF THE DAY NO. 74 – COMMIT TO YOUR BEST FRIENDS

TIP NO. 74 – COMMIT TO YOUR BEST FRIENDS

The other day when I was putting on my favourite black pants, and one of four sweaters I wear all the time, finishing it with a duffel coat I have worn all winter, it occurred to me that I wear these items all the time – why – because I feel very comfortable in them . They are like old faithful friends, I can always rely on to feel good.

Do you have friends like this in your wardrobe? I am sure you do – find out who they are and the next time they need replacing – BUY THE  BEST QUALITY  you can afford. You will never regret it, being of good quality they will be your best friends even longer.

See you tomorrow

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION ——–?

Hello Everyone

No, I have not been in touch for a while, so let me tell you first about my New Year’s Resolution – I promise to be in touch more often and I hope you will be too!

The New Year’s Resolution I would like you to make is:

NOT to buy a top or skirt, or whatever else might be on sale, because it is CHEAP. The best value you can get is to buy something you need, something of good quality, something you love and will wear for a long time – and please make sure that it has a mate – don’t buy just a top or bottom – buy an outfit and you won’t ever have to worry about what goes with what!

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY SHOPPING IN 2013

Until next time

20 STEPS HOW TO AVOID MISTAKES IN YOUR WARDROBE – #5, 6 and 7.

Hello Everyone

Have you had time to make your list since last week? Do you know what you need to add to your wardrobe?  —- Well, then let’s go shopping!

Here are the next three steps how not to have a another mistake join those hanging in your wardrobe.

#5. BUY BETTER QUALITY CLOTHES.

You can’t afford them? YES, you can! How? By buying LESS. The advantages of buying better merchandise are:

          – It is cheaper because it lasts longer

You feel better in a well-made garment

It does not lose its shape, regardless of how long you have it

          It fits better

Most important,  you will present a better image and feel better.

#6 NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT TRYING IT ON

I know it is a nuisance to try things on – in the winter we don’t feel like getting undressed, and in the summer we feel hot and sometimes sticky — but even if you are a medium and the T-shirt you are looking at is marked medium, try it on. It could be cut small, and you really need a large. Or the style may not look as good on you as you had expected. If you have no time to try on, DON’T BUY IT.

Of course, I know that you can ‘always bring it back’, but remember, it is time consuming to go back to the store – and should you not have the time to bring it back, you have spent your money on a garment you don’t wear – so please try on what you consider buying. You will be happy you did! It will save you time and money.

# 7. DON’T JUDGE A GARMENT ON THE HANGER

The look of a dress on a hanger should not influence you. It might look drab hanging there but stunning on you. Or it might be beautiful on the hanger, but not on you. Remember, try it on.

 Until the next time

STAY WELL AND LOOK YOUR BEST
