Every year when the first rays of sun come out, I am surprised by the effect the sunshine has on the way people dress.
The other day when the temperatures claimed to 70 degrees, it was amazing to see girls wearing camisoles – without a jacket or vest over and very short skirts, leaving their legs bare and exposing a winter tan – very white.
And then there were people still wrapped in quilted coats, with turtlenecks, and boots. I don’t know who felt more comfortable. Those of us still in winter, or those of us already in summer? Obviously nobody had listened to the weather forecast that morning?
So don’t get undressed yet, there are still cool days ahead and to avoid getting sick, dressing too warm is as dangerous as being too exposed. So leave the turtleneck and boots at home, and wear a warmer jacket or coat over a light weight top.
And while we are waiting for the warm weather to arrive, it is the right time to do the ‘Change-Over’ of our wardrobe – with other words – to put our winter clothes away and see, or better remind us, what we have, and what we need to buy for the new season.
I will help you do this the next time
